Position Description

Under the supervision of the YMCA Tree Lot Manager, this position is responsible for processing the sale of trees and other sale items to customers, communicating with tree lot staff, and assisting with communicating and scheduling deliveries to drivers. Staff is required to follow all safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • 18 years of age
  • Customer service experience
  • Cash handling and/or point of sale experience preferred

Responsibilities

  1. Ability to establish positive relationships with co-workers, supervisors and customers
  2. Ability to communicate effectively
  3. Visual and auditory ability to recognize and respond to critical incidents and follow outlined emergency procedures
  4. Ability to process transactions and complete sales
