Position Description

Grow as a professional while making a difference in children's lives!

The Martial Arts Instructor will teach the fundamentals of Martial Arts. Duties also include overseeing paperwork (roll and sign-in sheets) and assisting with program promotion.

Qualifications

  • AGE: 18 years of age or older
  • EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent; college education preferred
  • SPECIALIZED SKILLS:
    • Strong background and minimum 1 year experience teaching martial arts to children
    • Programming/curriculum planning
    • Experience working with children
    • Ability to communicate effectively and relate to youth.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse group of individuals
    • Strong character values, communication skills, emotional maturity
    • Current EMSA First Aid, Adult, and Child CPR and AED Certifications - (ARC, AHA, and ASHI certifications only)
